We will have an open house this year on Thursday, September 26 from 5:00-6:00 PM. We wanted to find a way to include our students more in what has been traditionally a “Curriculum Night.” Please stop in anytime between 5:00 and 6:00 with your child to learn more about what will be happening in their classroom in the upcoming year!

Lets get started clipping those Box Tops! We will be starting our first Box Tops contest of the year starting Monday October 7th and running through Friday October 18th. The class that collects the most Box Tops will win some extra tickets to the Halloween carnival!! Collection sheets will go home today, if you need extras, there will be more in the school lobby! Also, Box Tops is starting to phase out the clipping and added an app that you can download and scan your receipts that will automatically put the money in our School's Box Tops account. No School October 11th, what will you do?? Join Boston Harbor School for a reserved tour of the Schilters Pumpkin Farm! We will meet as a group at 10:30 at the entry. Cost is $6 per child, $3 for adults. (CASH ONLY PLEASE - we're paying as a group.) What’s included: Visit the farm animals in the petting farm. Find your way through the hay maze in the barn. Enjoy a covered hay ride. Pumpkins for kids (a size the child can carry) Covered area in barn to dine together for lunch. Half Day schedule, students dismissed @ 12:15  & Scholastic Book Fair

The Boston Harbor Annual Halloween Carnival will be Saturday, October 26th from 5-8PM. Admission is $5 per child (there are free of charge tickets available for students, please see Roxanne for information). Bring the whole family for spooky fun carnival games, festive live music, yummy Meconi’s sandwiches, delicious caramel apples & Lattin's cider! We are in need of volunteers to help run the games the night of the carnival. You can sign up to volunteer below or we will have sign up sheets for your class game in each classroom during conference week. The PTA has rented Skateland just for our school on Monday, Nov. 4th from 5-7PM. Cost is $6.50 per skater which includes skate rentals. Scholarships are available for your student to attend, please see Jen Brotherton or Roxanne for more details.
