2nd Annual STEAM Family Night

We’re celebrating STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) January 9^th-10^th at Boston HarborElementary School!  Do you have a special STEAM-related skill, passion or vocation to share with BHES kids in the afternoon on January 9^th?

Can you plan an engaging 20-25 minute presentation with lots of visuals (and maybe even some hands-on items) about how you use STEAM in your life/work? Our assembly, workshops and evening event the following day have a math focus so we’re particularly interested in the ways you use MATH in your everyday work. You would share your presentation three times with three groups of K-2 kids or three groups of 3-5 kids. Teachers stay with the students to help out. We also have a Signup Genius link with additional ways to help: https://bit.ly/2PQhZf7

Please let us know if you’re interested by Friday, December 7^th!  We want to expose kids to some fun STEAM jobs and skills (with an emphasis on MATH!).
